Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: May 2026

Welcome to Legit Inks. By accessing our website or engaging our services—including Remote Online Notarization (RON), Mobile Notary, Apostille, Estate Planning, I-9/CORI Verifications, and Courier services—you agree to the following terms. These terms are designed to ensure a “High-Touch VIP” experience and maintain the legal integrity of every transaction.

  1. Nature of Service

Legit Inks provides ministerial notarial services. Legit Inks and its authorized notaries are not attorneys. No service provided by our staff constitutes legal advice. We do not provide legal advice, draft legal documents, or explain the legal effects of the documents being notarized. Please consult with legal counsel for questions regarding the content or effect of your documents.

  1. Remote Online Notarization (RON) Requirements

To ensure a successful global RON session, the signer agrees to:

  • Technology: Provide a device with a functional camera, microphone, and stable high-speed internet. Legit Inks is not responsible for failed sessions due to the client’s technical issues.
  • Identity Verification: Complete Knowledge-Based Authentication (KBA) and Credential Analysis as required by law. Failure to pass these security hurdles will result in a cancelled session and may still incur a technology fee.
  • Environment: Conduct the session in a quiet, well-lit, and private environment.
  1. Mobile Notary & Courier Services (New England)
  • Travel Fees: For in-person services across New England, a travel fee will be agreed upon at the time of booking. This fee is earned at the time of travel and is non-refundable, even if the notarization cannot be completed due to signer error or missing documentation.
  • Wait Times: A grace period of 15 minutes is provided. Beyond 15 minutes, an additional “Wait Time Fee” may apply at the notary’s discretion.
  1. Apostille & Authentication Services

Legit Inks acts as a facilitator for Apostille services. While we ensure all notarizations are performed correctly for the destination country, we are not responsible for delays caused by the Secretary of State, the U.S. Department of State, or international mailing carriers.

  1. I-9 & CORI Verifications

Legit Inks acts as an “Authorized Representative” or “Agent” for the purpose of verifying identity and employment eligibility. We do not guarantee employment outcomes and are responsible only for the accurate recording of the identification presented.

  1. Fees and Payments
  • Payment Terms: Payment is due at the time of service unless a B2B corporate billing agreement is in place.
  • Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made less than 2 hours before a scheduled appointment (Mobile or RON) may be subject to a cancellation fee.
  • Refunds: Once a notarial seal is applied or a courier delivery is completed, services are considered rendered and are non-refundable.
  1. Right to Refuse Service

In accordance with New Hampshire and National Notary standards, Legit Inks and its representatives reserve the right to refuse service if:

  • The signer appears to be under duress or does not understand the document.
  • The identity of the signer cannot be verified with certainty.
  • The document contains obvious gaps, white-outs, or appears fraudulent.
  1. Limitation of Liability

Legit Inks’ liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the total amount of the fees paid by the client for that specific transaction. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use or inability to use the notarized documents.

  1. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Hampshire. Any disputes arising from these services shall be resolved in the jurisdiction of New Hampshire courts.

  1. The Visionary Clause

Our founding vision is to lead the East Coast in the integration of technology and blockchain, Legit Inks may offer electronic storage solutions for your documents. While we utilize high-level encryption, the client remains responsible for maintaining their own original copies and passwords for any digital vaults provided.
